It's all about those things we can't explain, things that go bump in the night, and other freaktacular occurrences. In this crazy world of ours, what's normal anyway??! We'll even talk about sparks of a pleasurable kind....if you dare. And since I'm in a daring mood, let's get started. Good luck. And please, try to stay out of the dungeon this week.
It's getting cold down there this time of year.
1. Tell us about your superstitions. Do you have any? Do you "x out" black cats on the windshield of your car, avoid cracks in the sidewalk or practice other rituals that make you feel safer?
Don't have any? Come on now! Make up some....
2. Has anything paranormal ever happened to you that you can write about?
3. Have you ever had a near-death experience?

Care to share?
4. Pheromones...aka "love fireworks" (I think I remember those)...are a force to be reckoned with. Do you believe that two people can have an uncontrollable chemical reaction to each other? How do you know this to be true?

If so, who would you like to hoodoo and why?
6. ESP! What do those letters stand for in your life?
7. Do you ever hear strange noises in your house?
If so, what do they sound like?
8. Tell us about a time you "knew" something was going to happen before it did. Are you one of those intuitive types or do you know someone who is ? Do tell.
9. I'm a tad gifted in the dream department. Really. Sometimes my dreams are prophetic and come true. It can be a blessing and a curse. Has this ever happened to you? If not, would you like to have this gift? (Be careful what you wish for. It can be freaky at times.)

I have gone through periods when I kept to certain superstitions, but not currently. I think they might be stress-related. But I've done a few: Avoiding pavement cracks, looking out for a "lucky" bird, etc.
2. Has anything paranormal ever happened to you that you can write about? 'Fraid not, though I know people who claim they have.
3. Have you ever had a near-death experience? Care to share? I have nearly killed myself in a car, but that's not what you mean, I think.
4. Pheromones...aka "love fireworks" (I think I remember those)...are a force to be reckoned with. Do you believe that two people can have an uncontrollable chemical reaction to each other? How do you know this to be true?
There is a girl. She feels (or felt) the same. Unfortunatley our personalities are such that we would be a time bomb. If we did, after a while (who knows how long?) we'd never speak to each other ever ever again. I like her too much.
5. Do you believe that modern day witches can put spells on people? If so, who would you like to hoodoo and why? I'd *like* this to be true, but I don't think I'd use it. I just want the power :)
6. ESP! What do those letters stand for in your life? Extra Special Person
7. Do you ever hear strange noises in your house? If so, what do they sound like? I understand that when spirits are about, you often hear wood creak. I have had experiences that would conform to that.
8. Tell us about a time you "knew" something was going to happened before it did. Are you one of those intuitive types or do you know someone who is ? Do tell.
There are three instances that I can remember. They are not very significant events, but the significance for me is *knowing*, without a shadow of a doubt, what was going to happen:
1) At school assembly one time when I was maybe 6, I became convinced that the teacher playing the piano was going to play an extra verse of the hymn. I have no idea why this would occur to me, since it had never happened
before. I became quite nervous as the end of the hymn approached, imagining some kind of disaster. Well she did play an extra couple of bars, stopped, apologised. No big deal.
2) In a pub as a teenager I just knew I was going to win on the slot machine. All my mates had been playing it most of the evening, and I just knew that when I stepped up to it, I was going to win. Yep, I did, bought some beers.
3) At uni, revising for my finals, it suddenly struck me that there was going to be an exam question of this particular subject that had not been examined in years. So I learned everything there was to know about it, and yes, there was a question. I told a mate too, who was grateful for the advice.
9. I'm a tad gifted in the dream department. Really. Sometimes my dreams are prophetic and come true. It can be a blessing and a curse. Has this ever happened to you? If not, would you like to have this gift? (Be careful what you wish for. It can be freaky at times.)
I don't but I would like to, because it would be interesting to experience it. It's always interesting hearing other peoples' experiences, but not the same as experienceing it myself.
