With the holidays staring us straight in the face here in the United States of America, it's difficult to know whether to be happy, depressed, thankful, or just stay in denial. After all, while we eat our dressed turkeys with dripping gravy and biscuits, people are still homeless, families go to bed hungry, and millions of others have no work or prospects of work in this country. And yet, no one canceled Thanksgiving. Looking at the state of our world, sometimes I wonder why. I am thankful, nonetheless, for friends and family near and far. I am thankful for YOU.
